College Admissions Tip from #NCEA16

The Office for Admissions at your preferred University is more likely to accept a student who shows a long, improving history with one group / club / sport, than a student who has short histories with MANY extracurriculars.

When a student shows that s/he can stick with something and improve over time, it shows characteristics of diligence, care, and loyalty.

Perhaps private high schools have the same opinion of 8th grade applicants? And maybe employers think the same of a candidate’s varied employment history?

Discover your God-given talents, use them, and get better at them. No matter your age, people will appreciate and admire your ability to do so.
